Juan Hernandez has been President of UPOA for at least 12 years. He mentioned the last time someone ran against him, his opponent gave a thourough speech regarding his qualifications and the desire for the group. Juan said, "I'll be quick. I own 300 units. He owns 1." Before Juan owned any houses or weekly rentals, he was a postman. Juan encourages the member of his group to share deals and ideas. He is buying and encouraging the purchase of land in Pearland these days. But Juan is not the kind of guy who needs other people to do what he is doing to make money. His 12,000 square foot home with elevator and 30 acres is open to the whole group for the annual holiday party. We will gladly join him, at both his party, and maybe even in his deals.
