HoustonRealNews knew Doug Smith before we were HoustonRealNews and before Doug Smith was HoustonInvestorNetwork, a pay-to-see listing service. Doug Smith, still in his mid-20's, graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Business and Information Management Systems (IMS). His passion became real estate. We met him auctioning a property in Westbury with 2 other partners in the summer of 2003. A deal Doug wisely left for greener pastures. Doug moved into Remodeling, Short Sales, but he especially took to helping other investors wholesale properties through his emails and splitting fees. In the Summer of 2005, Doug launched HoustonInvestorNetwork - a product of what he knows and loves Business/IMS/Real Estate.
